ALAMOSA – The Intermountain League released its All-Conference team in early June with eight players from the San Luis Valley being recognized.
Four of the locals are from Alamosa High School. Jonah Pittman, Tony Griego and Carlos Garcia were named to the first team, while Brennan Maez was honorable mention.
Centauri also had four selections. Parker Buhr, Jace Haslett and Leland Chacon were first team selections and Drake Gallardo was honorable mention.
Centauri’s Tyler Buhr was named the Coach of the Year.
League champion Montezuma-Cortez had the most selections with six and was led by Player of the Year Cory Carver. Bayfield had five selections and Pagosa Springs had three.
