ALAMOSA – There were some mistakes in Wednesday’s story about the Del Norte High School cross country team.
The Tigers won the Class 2A Region 4 boys championship with 43 points rather than finishing second as published. They won by one point one point over Crested Butte, 43-44. Also, the Centennial boys finished eighth with 152 points, Antonito was ninth with 167, and Sierra Grande was 10th with 175.
Del Norte was also second in the girls race with 39 points, rather than fourth, placing only behind Ridgway with 11. Antonito finished in fifth place with 84 points.
