MONTE VISTA- Get ready, San Luis Valley. One of the hottest nights of the summer is headed to Monte Vista as country music star Chase Rice brings his chart-topping hits to the Ski-Hi Stampede Grounds on Thursday, July 9, at 7:30 p.m.

Presented by Plant Nutrient Solutions and Summit Gold, the concert promises to turn the Ski-Hi Stampede Grounds into a giant country music party as fans sing along to the music and dance the night away beneath the Colorado sky. With two powerhouse performers sharing the stage, organizers of the event expect one of the biggest crowds of the summer.

Tickets are available online through the Ski-Hi Stampede website, and country music fans from across the San Luis Valley and beyond are encouraged to grab their boots and come experience a night they won't soon forget.

Known for his high-energy performances and electrifying stage presence, Rice is sure to have fans on their feet with hits including "Eyes on You," "Ready Set Roll," "Drinking' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.," "Lonely If You Are," "Way Down Yonder," and fan favorites from his latest albums. Rice also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line's blockbuster hit "Cruise," one of the best-selling country songs in history.

Born in Asheville, N.C., Rice first gained national attention before pursuing music full-time and eventually becoming one of country music's biggest stars. According to his official website, his music blends modern country with southern rock influences, and his live performances have earned a reputation for their energy and connection with fans.

Opening for Rice is country favorite Joe Nichols, whose unmistakable voice and traditional country style have earned him millions of fans. Nichols, born in Rogers, Arkansas, has produced a string of chart-topping songs including "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," "Brokenheartsville," "Gimme That Girl," "Yeah," "Sunny and 75," and "The Impossible."

Together, they are expected to deliver a night packed with hit after hit, creating memories that will last long after the final encore.

The concert kicks off four days of excitement surrounding the Ski-Hi Stampede, Colorado's oldest professional rodeo. According to the Ski-Hi Stampede website, the beloved tradition began in 1919 and has grown into one of the premier events in the state, featuring rodeo action, parades, carnival rides, dances and family-friendly entertainment.

For generations, the Ski-Hi Stampede has brought thousands of visitors to Monte Vista, celebrating the rich agricultural and ranching heritage of the San Luis Valley. This year's concert adds even more star power to an already legendary event.

Whether you're a lifelong Rice fan, or a Nichols enthusiast, July 9 promises to be a night filled with incredible music, and memories in the making.

From "Eyes on You" to "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," fans can expect to hear songs that have become the soundtrack to road trips, and summer nights for millions of listeners.

So, dust off those cowboy boots, grab your hats, and get ready, because Rice and Nichols are coming to rock Monte Vista, and the San Luis Valley won't want to miss a minute of it.
