ALAMOSA — Adams State University celebrated the graduation of another class of students with fall undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The well-known tradition honors a great achievement in the lives of the students, some of whom are the sons and daughters of ASU alumni while others are the first in their family to attend college, let alone earn a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Regardless of the circumstances, graduating from ASU marks a real milestone in a student’s life as earning an undergraduate degree is no easy feat.
ASU President David Tandberg has frequently told the story of how attending Adams State changed his life and set him on a path that led to a series of accomplishments in higher education, ultimately resulting in him being at the helm where his post-secondary education first started. His story illustrates the truth in ASU’s saying, “Great stories start here!”
Looking at the photos provided by ASU, one can only imagine what great things – what great stories – are up ahead in the lives of the students who graduated on Saturday.
