LA JARA — The La Jara Glory Days celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025, featuring a free community breakfast, paintball tournament, a parade with cash prizes, vendors booths, a car show, a beer garden and live entertainment throughout the day. Vendors and parade participation is still open.   

The schedule for the day is as follows: 

7–9 a.m.: Free community breakfast at Jack’s Market – sponsored by Jack’s, hosted by La Jara Rotary Club (donations to La Jara Rotary appreciated). 

9 a.m.: Parade lineup begins at Family Dollar parking lot.  Parade begins at 10 a.m.  For entry forms or additional information, contact La Jara Town Hall, 211 Broadway St., 719 274 5363. Cash prizes are available for parade participants. 

10 a.m.: Paintball tournament will take place at the South Main Park in La Jara.  For more information, contact Julian Espinoza, 719 298 7328. 

1l a.m.: Vendor booths will open at La Jara Town Park, 211 Broadway St. Rockin’ Rob DJ will provide music throughout the afternoon.  Vendor applications are available at La Jara Town Hall, or by contacting Larry Zaragoza 719 580 2032. 

11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: Cars for a Cause car show will take place on Main Street.  

Noon: The beer garden opens. 

12:30-2 p.m.:  The Arellano Brothers Band provide live music  

4 p.m.: Car show and parade awards will be announced. 

4:30 p.m.:  Hometown favorites, LOWDEAD, will take the stage and close out the day’s event.
