Rose Mary (Lepp) Wolcott was born in Bismarck, N.D., to Arthur and Anna M. Lepp during the Great Depression with an older sister, Ann, ready to welcome her. Their mother died when Rose was 2 years old and their father placed them in a Catholic orphanage with nuns that Rose remembered all her life as loving and kind-hearted.
She married Fred Wolcott in Denver in 1959. She was a capable wage earner, a dedicated housewife, an extensive re-reader, a creative crafter, and a caring person. She and Fred loved to travel to Hawaii and Mexico and Canada being three long-distance places, but they were happy to have the beauties of Colorado offering nearby opportunities to enjoy.
She is remembered with love by those left behind in the mountain community where she lived the last 20 years of her life. Cremation was chosen and private services will be held later.
