ALAMOSA — The 14th annual Alamosa Round-UP Christmas Light Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 21, beginning at 6 p.m.
As has been the tradition, floats adorned with lights, built with creativity and care by businesses and organizations will roll down Main Street in Alamosa while, in many cases, candy and treats will be tossed to folks lined up along the parade route.
Those who attend are sure to see trucks, tractors and trailers transformed into sleighs and winter scenes, bearing reindeer, Santas, elves and at least one or two Grinches.
The Christmas Light Parade is an established part of celebrating the season in Alamosa, and the holidays just don’t quite feel complete until it’s happened.
Members of the community are encouraged to bundle up in caps, parkas and gloves and head to Main Street for a Christmas show not to be missed.
