MONTE VISTA— Marcella “Jane” Christopher, 69, died peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning, Sept. 6, 2019 at her home in Monte Vista.
Jane was also born in Monte Vista, on March 31, 1950 to Goldie Pearl and Lloyd William Smith. Jane was married twice. She raised two daughters with Butch Trower who she was married to from October 1970 to 1981. She later married and was a widow to her second husband Krist Christopher. Jane loved to play games, was very creative and the life of every party.  She was always dressed to impress laden with rings on every finger.  
She is survived by her two daughters, Shelly Yvonne Trower and Paula Renee Armijo, son-in-law Moses Joseph Armijo, grandchildren Jazmin Starr Armijo and Elijah Sun Armijo, siblings Helen Irene Yelinek, Connie Kay Boyd, Lawrence “Woody” Smith, Jack Rowland Smith, and Veda Pearl Mascarenas.  
She was preceded in death by her parents Goldie and Lloyd, husband Krist and siblings “Billy” Smith, Ronnie Ray Smith, Joe Allen Smith, Samuel Lloyd Smith and Mary Etta Kelly.
