CREEDE— The Creede Arts Council (CAC) invites the public to the Creede Sculpture Show opening reception on Friday, July 20 at 6 p.m. The reception will be held at Basham Park in Creede.
This year’s show includes nine accomplished sculptors from Colorado and New Mexico who will be showcasing their work. The show will continue on Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, July 22 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. in Basham Park and at Big River Music in downtown Creede.
Sculptures will be on display and available for purchase. Dana Provence, sculptor and professor from Adams State University is this year’s judge. Winners will be announced at the opening reception.
Sculptures cover a wide range of subject matter, media and size. The pieces of art displayed this year are thought-provoking, creative and beyond imagination.
