George and Shirley Hedger hosted their son Matt Hedger, daughter-in-law Carrie and grandchildren Jackson and Emily for a week recently. The younger Hedgers brought another family of five with them to enjoy the Colorado cool. George Hedger’s brother, Richard, who also lives in Oklahoma, spent some time with a group staying at Black Mountain. They came into Creede Monday to shop, and Richard stopped at the Historical Museum to visit with Jack.

A bit of good news – Jimmy and Virginia Domico of BHA had to return home recently because their daughter was seriously ill. Their daughter is home now and doing very well, so the Domicos are returning to their cabin here.
Doc and Allie Hawthorne have had visitors from Oklahoma for the past week and a half. Tom, Kim and Kambrie Dyer from Inola, Okla. are here in their motorhome. Also with them are Floy Dyer from Inola and Chris Ramsey and Howard Sitton from Grove, Okla.
